The first time I met our new pet sugar gliders, they crabbed at me and I was a little scared. I said I didn’t like them. When we got them home and first started bonding with them, we did tent time. In tent time, we let the sugar gliders out to climb and jump on us. One of the sugar gliders, Susie, jumped from the side of the tent and landed on my face!
I tried to be brave and hold still and not scream. The next time I bonded with them, I wore this mask for protection.
This time Susie jumped onto my mask and went into my eye hole! But you know what? It wasn’t that scary. In fact, they are really cute, and pretty fun. They might be kind of crazy sometimes, but I’m learning that they really aren’t that scary. I think I like sugar gliders afterall.
